Commenter? Commentor? Commentator? Common Tater?

After re-reading something... I finally bothered to consult www.m-w.com to find out if I really misspelled commenter. To them, the word doesn't exist. Dictionary.com has it, but not commentor.

Dictionary.com also indicates similarity to commentator. Now, I know that's a better word, but I get the feeling that the implication of "commentator" is one that tells you what's happening as it happens, as in at a football game (US or UK). Commenter is easier to spell (in?)correctly, in any case.

Don't forget that you can remain as anonymous as you want or need to be. Still, I'm glad that you stopped by, if only because you clicked on a link somewhere.

This space for rent

Since I had spent all of $9 to get this site up and running, I'm not upset if it goes away, but I thought that I'd see more traffic. :) It's ok, though.

PS: I tried unsuccessfully to upgrade my RAM on this box, so I think I will wait until I get a larger hard drive before I do that. In the mean time, I'm going to put Knoppix CD's in all the computers at a local retailer. I'm a rebel, I am!

Yeah, well, whatever. How hard is it to get listed in our favorite search engine? Apparently not too hard, especially when one has a zeal account... or simply being mentioned in a specific site. Search criteria: Google Answers Commenters.

I upgraded to a new operating system. It seems at the same time that I am having flakiness with my hard drive. Bummer.

So, I am biting the bullet and purchasing a real Dell Server to host. This will be faster, better, etc... hopefully. Anyway, Please stay tuned, and come back ...

Down Time :( 2/20/05

Sunday, the site was down because I was upgrading my FreeBSD server to 5.3... Not that that should actually mean anything to anybody, but it did cause me to lose about 12 hours of uptime ... and sanity.
